Join us for one last indulging treat before you start fasting from sneaky sweet things. Here is a simple crepe recipe to help you recreate your Pavilion dessert at home:
Ingredients (makes about 12):
- 100gms of plain flour
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 300ml of milk
- 1 tbsp of sunflower oil or melted butter
Method:
Mix the flour and salt together adding half the milk and all of the egg. Once the mixture has come together, add the rest of the milk and combine. Cling film the bowl and leave to stand in the fridge for half an hour. When ready, lightly oil a non stick frying pan and drop a ladle full of the mixture. Swirl the pan and leave for a minute or two to brown. Flip the pancake using a fish slice or palette knife (or if you’re an expert flip the pan and watch your pancake fly!) and let the other side brown for a minute then slide out of the pan. Serve with lemon and sugar or cream and chocolate sauce! Yum!!
