Dahlia Mexican Star I

This flower has a story to tell: aptly named in relation to where the dahlia originates, mexican star has fragrant, nodding, star-like blooms that are abundant in flowering. Intensely coloured burgundy petals that look like velvet and a deep golden centre fill your summer and early autumn garden with rich, deeply saturated colour and are reputed to have a chocolate aroma.
