Bare root plants
Bare root plants are a type of plant that is sold without soil or pot and often dormant. These plants have the advantage of easily establishing roots once planted as well as requiring minimal packaging which makes them an environmentally friendly option for gardening.
Bare root plants are ideal for planting during winter and early spring since the soil is still too cold for planting container-grown plants. This makes them a great option for large-scale projects such as landscaping or reforestation.
