Fructo Alba’ is a compact rounded shrub with deep evergreen foliage. Its dense branching clusters of green buds open to fragrant, white flowers in Spring, followed by large collections of round, glossy, white berries which last throughout Winter. Therefore, there are long periods of interest throughout the year.  

This evergreen shrub is ideal for growing in containers or mixed borders. It performs best when grown in full or partial shade.  Fructo Alba is a female variety of Skimmia, it will need a male variety close by, such as japonica ‘Rubella’ to ensure pollination.
