Niwaki Forged Hori Hori
As it stands, the Hori Hori is pretty much the most useful, adaptable tool there is for weeding, planting and general subterranean rummaging - but when the Kondo blacksmiths get their hands on one, everything’s cranked up a gear or two.
The laminated, hand forged carbon blade is fitted in an ergonomic White Oak handle. It’s sharpened down one side of the blade and around the tip for slicing through roots and soft soil - but like all weeding trowels, this is not for prising roots out of heavy, solid soil.
Best usage
The carbon steel blade benefits from the occasional wipe down with an oily rag.
