Care Guide
Citrus trees thrive in bright, sunny conditions and reward consistent care with healthy growth and seasonal fruit.
- Light: Place in a bright position with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day.
- Watering: Water when the top few centimetres of compost begin to dry. Keep the soil evenly moist but never waterlogged.
- Temperature: Best grown between 10–25°C. Protect from frost and cold draughts.
- Humidity: Enjoys moderate humidity. Mist occasionally if the indoor air is particularly dry.
- Feeding: Feed every 2 weeks during spring and summer with a specialist citrus fertiliser to encourage healthy foliage, flowers, and fruit.
- Repotting: Repot every 2–3 years into a slightly larger container using a free-draining citrus compost.
